Kagayaki is an intimate 18-seater teppanyaki restaurant conceived as a refined stage for culinary craft and spatial experience. Occupying a compact 123 sqm footprint, the design choreographs a journey from a subdued entrance into a warmly lit main dining hall, where a beautifully hand crafted Kumiko screen forms the backdrop to the teppan counter that is the focal heart of the space.

Against a backdrop of restrained materials and subtle lighting, every element is considered to enhance the guest’s engagement with the chef’s performance. The gentle interplay of light and texture frames the curved counter and curated finishes, encouraging an immersive and contemplative dining experience that complements the precision and artistry of the cuisine.

Through careful attention to proportion, circulation and atmosphere, the space balances warmth and sophistication — allowing the design to quietly support both the exclusivity of the gastronomic journey and the social intimacy of the fine dining setting.
